Catherine Burr is a bestselling American romance novelist and parenting humorist author. Her first book,
Motherhood is not for Wimps, was first released in 1996 and was featured in international media including radio, TV, newspapers, magazines, a plug by Kathie Lee Gifford on the Live with Regis and Kathie Lee Show, a two-page article and excerpt in Sun magazine, and was used as an example in the textbook, Merry Wives and Others, in which Catherine Burr was acknowledged as a foremost domestic humorist in North America, being compared to legendary Dave Barry and Erma Bombeck.
In the 2003, Catherine Burr's debut novel, Silicon Secrets,
