Catherine Burr wrote her first novel when her eldest child started college. Call it beginner’s luck, romance in the air, or excellent writing, but her debut novel, Silicon Secrets quickly became fan-loved and critically acclaimed, including “Best Books of Silicon Valley” list.

 

A bestseller was not new to Catherine, however, her prior book, a non-fiction inspirational parenting humor book, Motherhood is not for Wimps, was also a smash hit.

 

Catherine’s Award-winning column, which was named after her book, Motherhood is not for Wimps, won a Blogger’s Choice Award and her fan-base spread even further throughout the world.

 

Continuing writing dramatic fiction Catherine’s book, Desires and Deceptions was released in 2006.

 

2007 brought the release of Orchids to Die For, part of the intrigue romance Jim Morgan/Catherine Harris Adventure Series.

 

Catherine Burr has been inducted into the Author’s Hall of Fame, won the Outstanding Authors Award, and nominated for the Blogger’s Choice Award. Catherine Burr has also been named a foremost North American Humorist in the book, Merry Wives and Others.

 

Catherine is a member of the Romance Writer’s of America, the Woman’s National Book Association, and is a member of the Women’s Leadership Council of Monterey Bay.

 

Catherine lives in California with her family, 3 dogs and a cat named, “Limelight.”
